Information About Us

Your booking is made with The Bevan Commission whose office is at The School of Management, Swansea University, Bay Campus, Fabian Way, Swansea, SA1 8EN  (hereinafter “We”, “Our” or “Us”) for delegates to register and book places to attend [The Bevan Commission Conference] on the 3rd and 4th of July 2018 (the “Event”).

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a booking.

Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions set out in this document (together with the documents referred to in them) (hereinafter the “Terms and Conditions”) will apply to any bookings you make, and your attendance at the Event.  

By making a booking, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions and that you agree to comply with them.

Other Applicable Terms

Bookings shall be made through Eventbrite, and Eventbrite’s terms and conditions shall apply and these can be found at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/tos/.   

Your use of The Bevan Commission website (http://www.bevancommission.org) shall be governed by our privacy policy, found at http://www.bevancommission.org/privacy-policy

  • 1. Registration and Bookings

1.1 When registering for the Event, the party making the booking will be asked to provide information about the delegate(s) attending the Event.

1.2 Rates and packages available to delegates will be determined based on the information provided, including but not limited to the organisation’s membership status. 

1.3 All delegates must confirm their name, job title and organisation at the time of booking. 

1.4 Registration details will be sent before the Event.

1.5 Programme details are correct at time of going to press. We reserve the right to make changes where necessary.

  • 2. Cancellation

2.1 For any cancellations made up to 7 days’ prior to the date of the Event, you shall be entitled to a full refund of the booking fee.

2.2 If you provide less than 7 days’ notice of cancellation prior to the date of the Event, you will not be entitled to a refund of the booking fee.

2.3 If the Event is cancelled by Us for any reason within 7 days of the Event you shall be entitled to a full refund.

  • 3. Payment

3.1 Please note that We require full payment in advance of the Event. 

3.2 the applicable prices can be found annexed to these terms in Appendix 1.

3.3 A 20% discount shall be applied to bookings made before 30th April 2018.

3.4 Payment shall be made via Eventbrite and their terms and conditions shall apply. 

3.5 Invoices may be requested via the Eventbrite payment page. Payments must be made at the time of booking.

3.6 We encourage all delegates to register in advance of the Event. It may not be possible for you to register on the day of the Event. All registration must be made through Eventbrite and registration at the venue will not be possible.  

3.7 Should you fail to make payment in advance of the Event this may result in you being refused admittance to the Event. 

  • 4. Data protection

4.1 All personal data collected on registration shall be used in accordance with (i) unless and until the GDPR is no longer directly applicable in the UK, the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) and any national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation, as amended or updated from time to time, in the UK and then (ii) any successor legislation to the GDPR or the Data Protection Act 1998.

4.2 We shall in relation to any personal data processed in connection with the organisation and delivery of the Event:

4.2.1 process that personal data only for the purposes or organisation and delivery of the Event;

4.2.2 ensure that We have in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect against unauthorised or unlawful processing of personal data and against accidental loss or destruction of, or damage to, personal data, appropriate to the harm that might result from the unauthorised or unlawful processing or accidental loss, destruction or damage and the nature of the data to be protected, having regard to the state of technological development and the cost of implementing any measures; and

4.2.3. ensure that all personnel who have access to and/or process personal data are obliged to keep the personal data confidential.

4.3 We will include your personal details (name, job title and organisation) on the delegate list which will be available to other attendees, and Event sponsors. Please indicate at the time of booking if you would like to opt out of including your personal details on the delegate list.

4.4 Where the Event has exhibitors, your badge may have a barcode on it which can be scanned to capture your personal information such as your name, job title, organisation and email address. Please inform the exhibitor at the time if you do not wish to have your details scanned.#4.5 We find it helpful to have a note of your mobile phone number so that We can contact you during the Event with news or changes to the programme. We will not share this information with any other party. 

4.6 By submitting registration details, delegates agree to allow Us to contact them regarding their services and future events. If you do not wish to receive such communications please email 

  • 5. Liability

5.1 Views expressed by speakers are their own. We assume no responsibility for the content of presentations or materials provided by speakers at the Event and We cannot give any warranty that the information will be accurate or up to date.

5.2 Subject to the paragraph below, We do not accept liability for any error or omission and excludes all liability for any action you may take or loss or injury you may suffer (whether direct or indirect, or any indirect, consequential or special loss) howsoever arising for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the Event or in any material provided to delegates or as a result of you relying on the same.

5.3 We do not attempt to exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by the Organiser’s own negligence or any other liability the exclusion and restriction that cannot be excluded or restricted by English law.

  • 6. Photography & Filming

6.1 There may be a professional photographer and video production taking place during the Event which may be used at a later date for promotional and other uses. Delegates who do not want their photograph to be taken or used in this way should notify a member of staff or the photographer onsite.

  • 7. Insurance

7.1 It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the Event. The NHS Confederation cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.

  • 8. General

8.1 We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions. We will do this by altering these Terms and Conditions on the site and this alteration will then be of immediate effect.

8.2 These Terms and Conditions, their subject matter and formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

8.3 Each and every provision of these Terms and Conditions is separate and severable. If any part of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law, then the validity and enforceability of the remainder of these Terms and Conditions shall not be affected.

8.4 Further information in relation to the venue, and setting up at the Event is included in exhibitor pack which shall be provided to the attendees prior to the Event.

1 day: £150 +VAT

2 day: £250 +VAT

Third Sector Employees

1 day: £75 +VAT

2 day: £150 +VAT

Private Sector Employees

1 day: £250 +VAT

2 day: £400 +VAT

An ‘Early Bird Discount’ applies a 20% discount to all tickets bought until 30th April 2018
