Professor Nicholas ‘Nick’ Rich is an expert in the field of operations management and specialises in the design of high performance organisational systems (high quality manufacturing and service businesses) and highly reliable organisational systems (safety critical industries and healthcare sectors).
Pushp P. Patil is research officer at Bevan Commission for Adoption and Spread Programme. Programme involves working in collaboration with health organisations, testing approaches for the adoption and spread of innovation. She has doctorate degree Ph.D. in Management from the School of Management, Swansea University.
Helen is currently the Director of the Bevan Commission, an independent think tank for health in Wales, and the Bevan Commission Academy, which aims to help translate the Commissions’ findings into practice. Helen played a lead role in its establishment and in the development of Prudent Healthcare and the Bevan Innovators and Bevan Innovation Hub programmes.
Siôn Charles is Deputy Director at the Bevan Commission and Bevan Academy, where he leads the Bevan Innovators programmes as well as and being involved in business and policy development and Commission events. He takes a particular interest in new and emerging sciences: co-production and Prudent Healthcare, behaviour change sciences, service transformation, complexity and systems working. He enjoys making sense of chaos, offering new approaches and perspectives to resolving old challenges and translating complex delivery requirements into simple actions.
Dr Robert Royce is the senior researcher at the Bevan Commission. Robert had previously held senior NHS management positions both in England and Wales as well as working in healthcare consulting and for Bupa. He has written two books and had almost 100 articles published in the likes of the BMJ, HSJ and Managed Care (USA). He has a PhD from Swansea University looking at the dynamics of the private healthcare in the United Kingdom.
