Professor Philip Routledge
Professor Phil Routledge graduated in Medicine in 1972 from the University of Newcastle, where he later obtained his MD. He was appointed Senior Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacology in the Welsh National School of Medicine (now Cardiff University School of Medicine) in 1981. From 2012 until his retirement in 2019, he was founding Clinical Director of the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre in Cardiff. He is also Emeritus Professor of Clinical Pharmacology in Cardiff University and a President Emeritus of the British Pharmacological Society. He was appointed OBE in 2008 and CBE in 2018, both for “Services to Medicine”.
