About the Event

Led by the Bevan Commission in partnership with the Institute of Welsh Affairs (IWA), the Welsh NHS Confederation, Social Care Wales and the Board of Community Health Councils in Wales. The IWA's involvement in this event is supported by the Carnegie UK Trust as part of its Rethinking Wales series'.

This first session will launch the series and set out the context of the challenges ahead for health and care in Wales as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. It will also look at the wider picture, outside of the NHS itself, that is having a big impact on population health and wellbeing including; unemployment, poverty, inequality, social care and mental health.
