About the Event

The Welsh Government's National Planned Care Programme would like to invite you to the planned care Summit 2021, on the 4th of November in collaboration with the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Bevan Commission.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for innovative thinking and new ways of working to face the immediate challenges of the pandemic, as well as our future recovery.

We are putting together an exciting programme, that will engage and inspire discussions around planned care delivery. Looking at how healthcare systems can incorporate and reform new ways of working, that underpins the planned care programmes new approach, that aims to recover from the pandemic and ensure that NHS organisations are sustainable and resilient that meets the population need for the people in Wales.

The event will include guest speakers such as: Minister for Health and Social Services: Eluned Morgan, Director General for Health and Social Services and the NHS Wales Chief Executive: Dr Andrew Goodall, Bevan Commission, NHS Wales Delivery Unit and many more. There will also be an opportunity during the event to participate in two interactive discussion groups.

The event format is designed so it can be attended both online and in person (Cardiff). When registering, please indicate what is your preferred attendance method - virtual or face to face.
